We use only photos that are openly licensed for commercial use (Wikimedia Commons and Flickr Creative Commons), official publicity stills for coverage of the title they belong to, and official trailers played from YouTube. Every photo carries its creator, source and licence.

If you hold the rights to something on this site and want it removed, write to complaints@popdesk.online with:

  1. The link to the page and a description of the material.
  2. A description of the work you hold the rights to (for example, a link to the original you published).
  3. Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by you, your agent or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.
  6. Your signature (typing your full name is enough).

These are the details the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act asks for; a notice from anywhere else with the same details is handled the same way.

We remove the material promptly, usually within one working day, and tell you when it is done. If we believe the material was correctly licensed, we tell you why and remove it anyway while the question is settled.
